We’re located very centrally in Franz Josef on Cron Street, just off the Franz Josef Highway SH6, which runs through the centre of the village. Punga Grove is hidden in the rainforest just a short walk to shops, cafes, bars and tour operators and just a few minutes’ drive to the Franz Josef Glacier access.

I am your host, Jo, who will give you 120% of an amazing time whilst you stay at Punga Grove. I am a Mum of three beautiful children, Sarah, Matt, and Kate who has blessed me with two adorable grandsons—what can I say, I am a doting Nana!
I was born in Auckland but have lived on the West Coast since I was three. I love the lakes and beaches for collecting stones. I am very out going and have been very sporty, I spent my whole life coaching mini ball for up to under 20s basketball teams!
I was head girl when I was learning and have also worked at a Chemist but spent most of my working career in the hospitality industry because I love every aspect of it.
I am very much a people person, it is very rewarding to be surrounded by loving people here at Franz Josef Glacier.
