On the third floor of the Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach, balanced between its 2 towers, is a spacious sundeck for sunbathing. One block from the hotel lies a stretch of Waikiki Beach with a breakwater—Kuhio Beach—which creates calm, pool-like swimming conditions. Waikiki Beach offers snorkeling and all other sand and surf activities. The hotel is also one block from Kapiolani Park, with its tennis courts, jogging paths, the Honolulu Zoo, and the Waikiki Aquarium. A 24-hour fitness center is onsite, and a public golf course less than a half-mile.
