Bayside Lodge, a 5 bed roomed bed & breakfast, is perfectly positioned in a quiet residential area of Plettenberg Bay. With its proximity to Plett's magnificent beaches, the unspoilt Robberg Nature Reserve, sporting facilities (including world class golf courses), shopping centres and restaurants, Bayside Lodge is a perfect base from which to explore the Garden Route and its myriad activities and attractions.Encompassing peace and tranquillity, this four star graded lodge is a mere 4 minute walk from Plett's famous blue flag Robberg 5 beach. Since taking over Bayside Lodge in March 2014, owner/managers Bernie and Adrienne have created a friendly atmosphere which is both warm and elegant. Personal attention and exceeding expectations are the hallmarks of this popular lodge.
The suites are all different with their own individual theme and feel, offering various options for guests. Honeysuckle has a Jacuzzi spa bath and Harmony its own lounge. Sunkissed and Lighthouse are perfect for a small group or family and finally Finch Cottage has a kitchen and sitting room with its own patio and barbecue. All suites have flat screen televisions, small fridges, tea/coffee making facilities, bathrobes, bathroom amenities, electronic safes, fans, heaters, snack baskets and mini bars. Families are welcome - Finch Cottage is available for parents with children under six and we do have a cot. There is off-street parking behind an electric gate and the property is covered by CCTV.

Finch Cottage is set apart from the main lodge close to the (enclosed) swimming pool. It offers a patio and barbecue area and is most favoured by families with small children, or couples wanting privacy and the additional self-catering option. The afternoon sun streams into the attractive bedroom with its en suite bathroom neatly tucked away behind cupboard doors. The lounge has a sleeper couch and the kitchen is well equipped with microwave, counter top stove and oven, fridge and all utensils. Mini-safe, tea/coffee making facilities, snack basket, heater, fan, beach towels, percale linen, bath robes and guest amenities are provided.

Scrumptious breakfasts are served in the elegant dining room or patio overlooking the tranquil garden. The buffet offers a wide selection of fruit, cereal, yoghurt, cold meat, cheese, muffins and toast. Cooked breakfasts are prepared to order by our cheerful waitresses Martha and Ntombi. Packed breakfasts are available for guests departing early.
