Arrive at Shantara Resort Port Douglas and be greeted by the relaxed and tranquil environment . The courtyard's two lagoon style swimming pools cleverly encircle the apartment courtyard to provide ground level apartments with poolside access. Private decks with tropical landscaping provides the perfect place to idyll with a drink. Balconies on higher floor provide an excellent vantage point of the pool without interrupting the privacy of ground floor guests.

Ideal for the short stay, our studio rooms are well appointed with a king bed, kitchenette with tea/coffee facilities, bar sized fridge and microwave oven. The bathroom is modern and spacious with a full shower, and a comfortable balcony to relax on after a day of sightseeing.
Internally have the same features as the pool view studio rooms but have that added extra area outdoors with access to the pool directly from your balcony area without leaving your room.
Open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas with all the modern conveniences. The bedroom is separated from the living area by sliding Japanese screens, and the bathroom has a spa bath tub and a separate shower recess. Glass sliding doors open to the large and comfortably furnished balcony.
Have the same features as the 1 bedroom pool view apartments but have the additional feature of the timber pool decks that extend from the balcony area to the pool for easy access to the pool without leaving your apartment. Shantara does have 2 pools however only the larger pool is currently heated , the island pool is at external ambient temperature.
The main 1 bedroom apartment is the fully self contained apartment, with a king bed, the beds can be split to twin share if required, spa bath with separate shower, full kitchen with lounge/dining area and outdoor balcony to sit out on.
The 2nd room, being the studio has a kitchenette with a dining table, bathroom with shower recess, king bed and outdoor balcony also.
The dual key apartment gives you complete privacy, yet the facilities can be shared, ideal for couples sharing or mum and dad with teenage children. The apartments also have the feature of direct pool access from the 2 balcony areas of the dual key apartments or a Jacuzzi (Hot Tub) in the private courtyard.
Only 4 of our special Shantara Apartments are available , great should you be celebrating your Honeymoon, Anniversary or just for that special treat to spoil yourself and enjoy the best of both with the Jacuzzi (Hot Tub) and access to the pool from the private timber deck from the balcony area.
The balcony area opens onto a pool deck giving you direct access to the pool, while in your own private courtyard is a large Jacuzzi (Hot Tub) to relax in after that long day out.
Internally these apartments have all the facilities and features of the 1 bedroom apartment.
