The Eco-Suites are 30% larger than the Standard Resort Rooms. These luxury suites are eco-friendly with ocean and/or rainforest views. The suites have been designed and built to have minimal impact on the environment. They utilize only organically grown timbers and commercial materials with little or no toxins. Large solar panels provide power to heat the water as well as under floor heating, along with ecofleece insulation in the wall cavities and thermocell panels in the ceiling to promote energy efficiency. Additionally, the suites feature environmentally friendly amenities and energy saving devices. The suites were designed and built around the larger native trees and smaller plants were relocated to other areas of the resort.
The Club Bar and Jacob's Grill Restaurant at Punakaiki Resort provide two perfect settings to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery of Punakaiki Beach.

Great spot on beach. Even though raining and grey, place was wonderful. Laundry was a nice surprise. Dinner and breakfast was really yummy. Staff very helpful and personable.
