KI Lodge offers a range of facilities to entertain guests. It boasts the largest crystal blue salt water swimming pool on Kangaroo Island, with breathtaking views over the bay, the perfect way to relax on a warm day or balmy evening. There is also a toddlers paddle pool adjacent to it and two sauna rooms with change rooms and showers nearby. For the more energetic, we have a full size Tennis court with racquets and balls available.KI Lodge is intimately positioned amongst a unique range of local flora and fauna. Take a complimentary Nocturnal torch light stroll around the grounds to spot wallabies and possums after dinner, join our "staff" pelicans for their breakfast feeding on the beach or take our self guided intrepretive trail walk (also complimentary) to really appreciate just how satisfying this relationship to nature can be. The Lodge has its own colony of the spectacular and very rare Red Tailed glossy black cockatoos living in the Sheoak trees at the rear of the property. People come from all over the world to see them as they fly across the ravines and coast around us. We can lend you binoculars and guide books: just ask!Indoors, play a board game, borrow a book from our modest library or perhaps shoot a game of pool.A full size BBQ and facilities are available under the vines in the al fresco area adjacent to the pool.

The food was delicious. Shared scallops & arancini balls, duck main & followed by an affogato. Service was great. Beer on tap and local wines highly recommended.
