Our 25 acres of land is totally secluded and therefore you will never hear traffic or noisy neighbours.
Our beach is exclusive to our guests and completely free of beach vendors and motorised water sports.
We offer a freshly cooked breakfast until 10:30 a.m. allowing you to get up at your leisure, take a walk or have a swim before your breakfast.
If your room is not required on the day of your departure, you can keep it until you leave at no charge. If your specific room is required that day and we have another available, we will assign it to you until your departure time, again without charge. If we are completely full, we ask you to check out at midday and use our air-conditioned shower and changing rooms prior to leaving - you are welcome to continue to use all our facilities and your bags will be kept in a secure place.
We offer high speed broadband Wi-Fi services in all rooms and public areas and the use of computers in our internet room – all free of charge.
Our housekeepers will fully service your room twice a day - morning and early evening. We believe in a common sense and fair approach to the use of beach & pool beds which means reserving them is not permitted - we have more than enough for everybody so 'first come, first served'.
We serve chilled purified drinking water in the restaurants, bars and on the beach - free of charge.
All guests receive a welcome drink and a cold towel on arrival. In addition to fresh flowers on the day of arrival all guests receive a turndown “goodies”.
We happily offer honeymoon, birthday, and 'major anniversary' benefits - free of charge. 35% of our guests are returning guests or word of mouth recommendations. Guests returning 6, 8, 10 times are not unusual.
We are located 10 minutes by car from Koh Samui's International Airport (not in the flight path), 10 minutes drive to the islands busiest and biggest town Chaweng Beach, and 10 minutes drive from Koh Samui's famous walking street market, The Fisherman's Village.
Our rigid Green Policy ensures that all our waste is recycled and chemicals and plastic wrappings / bags are forbidden. No trees were damaged in the construction of the hotel 25 years ago and no tree has been cut down since.
Beachfront Suites are located in a 3-storey building aside the main pool. They all enjoy fabulous direct pool and sea views. The ground floor rooms have an oversize indoor bathroom, terraces complete with sun-loungers and have direct gated access to the pool and gardens – wonderful for families with children. The two upper floors all have our signature “bath-with-a-view” on the terrace, sun loungers and a dining/writing table.
Set among the Cottage Suites, all 5 Pool Cottage suites offer a private plunge pool (20 sq.m.) surrounded by birds & butterflies alive and free. Split level floor enables the view from the air-conditioned living area as well as from the open air terrace area with an outdoor bathtub. Sun bathe, take a dip under the moonlight or a midnight swim are all possible all in your own time.
The Tongsai Grand Villas are situated high on the hillside to the south of the bay. Each spectacular villa is luxuriously furnished and features a vast open air terrace complete with signature “bath with a view”, 4 poster bed with mosquito net, bar, pantry, dining area and sun loungers. The sea views are far reaching and the sense of privacy and tranquillity is astounding!
The Seafront Pool Villas are located in the middle of the front row of the Tongsai Grand Villas. Each spectacular villa is luxuriously furnished and features a vast open air terrace complete with signature "bath with a view", 4 poster bed with mosquito net, bar, pantry, dining area and sun loungers. The sea views are far reaching and the sense of privacy and tranquillity is astounding! The crowning glory is a private pool - 3.3m x 7.3m with a depth of 1.2m.
