Only 400m from Victoria Falls, and less than 100m from the bars and restaurants of the town, Explorers’ Village accommodation is the perfect place to call home. The 96 roomed Shearwater Explorers Village is a superb 3 star Lodge situated only 400m from the Victoria Falls.

It is so close to the Falls that it occasionally receives an early morning shower from the Falls spray. The property overlooks virgin African bush and a waterhole frequently visited by elephant and buffalo and yet it is very near the craft markets and entertainment district.

So location is certainly a primary benefit, along with amazing gardens supporting fantastic birdlife, great ambience  & cuisine and true value for money.

It’s time to whip out your bucket list. There’s no better way to see the scale, magnificence and beauty of the Victoria Falls than from the air. But it’s not just the Falls that you’ll see from a different angle. Depending on the flight you choose, you will take a whirl around the Batoka Gorge, the Victoria Falls Bridge and the Zambezi River, before flying over the Zambezi National Park where you’ll have the opportunity to spot game from up above.

All helicopters have specially developed bubble windows for the best views possible, and middle seats are not sold, so guests are guaranteed uninterrupted views. The helipad is five minutes from town, it’s the closest in Victoria Falls, so you’ll be over the Falls almost immediately after take-off.

You will also be picked up for free from any hotel or lodge within the Victoria Falls town area.
