In mid-August visitors can catch the Tufi Cultural Show which is an intimate sing along where there will be dancing, singing and celebrations, all performed in traditional dress. Though the town used to be a hub for fishing and producing rubber, it now relies mostly on tourism for income. While visiting Tufi, be sure to investigate tapa which it’s famous for producing. Just a few hours outside of Tufi you’ll find villages that welcome guests and teach them about local traditions. The landscape of Tufi is sure to take every visitor’s breath away with fjords that rise more than 500 feet out of the ocean and are covered in verdant moss and blooming orchids.
