So it is hardly surprising that Aitutaki is the second-most visited island in the Cook Islands. This island is not meant for those looking for beaches in the day and an urban party scene at night, but Aitutkai's main village, Arutanga, on the west coast does feature a collection of shops, a post office and a small wharf.
